Full-stack software and data engineer who builds AI assistants, data pipelines and tools that take tedious work off people's plates. Currently working on full-stack and data at Manulife/John Hancock Financial, studying for an M.S. in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and based in Boston, MA and the NYC Metropolitan Area.

ship, learn, ship again.

From tutoring to production.

I earned my B.S. in Computer Science at UConn, with a minor in Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship. In my final year I was a tutor at the CSE Tutoring Center, working through homework and exam prep with students from intro to upper-level courses, and helping them get career-ready early: planning their courses, polishing resumes and preparing for their first internship applications.

Today I work across full-stack software and data engineering on the Personal Investing team at Manulife/John Hancock Financial. I help build the company's AI retirement tools, which help customers make sense of their retirement plans and benefits, and I'm moving the data behind them onto governed, auditable pipelines that meet compliance requirements.

Alongside work, I'm pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in Machine Learning.

things I've built.

Side projects built around the things I enjoy: knowing what's in my skincare, good matcha and long walks. Each one is a full-stack or data project with tests, CI and a write-up on GitHub.

Personal project

reading the back of the bottle for you.

Skincare labels are long lists of names most people can't decode. skinscript is a full-stack beauty-tech site that explains an ingredient list in plain language and flags common conflicts across a whole routine, with a cited source behind every flag. Paste a list, snap a photo of the label, or search for a product by name or barcode.

TypeScript, Next.js, React, Supabase (Postgres, Realtime), Tesseract.js, Open Beauty Facts API, Vitest

Two phone screens from skinscript: the home page reading Know what's in your skincare, and routine results flagging a retinoid plus exfoliating acid conflict across real products.

Personal project

a café log that knows where I should go next.

I'm always hunting for cafés with the best matcha and coffee, so I built a place to log every visit, rate the matcha and the coffee separately, see it all on a map, and get an honest answer to "what should I try next?"

TypeScript, Next.js, React, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Vitest, GitHub Actions

Two phone screens from Matcha & Café Finder: the home page reading Matcha meets Coffee with café counts, and the Where to next carousel showing Bluestone Lane with a link to its Google reviews.

Personal project

turning long walks into a medallion pipeline.

Long walks are my favorite way to spend a free day, so I built the kind of pipeline I work with professionally around walking and activity data: raw exports in, clean and trustworthy insights out.

Python, SQL, DuckDB, Streamlit, pytest, GitHub Actions

Stride walking dashboard summary: a plain-English recap of the last 90 days, miles walked, walks, average daily steps and a miles-per-week chart, built on synthetic data.

I'm interested in AI/ML, especially where it meets health & wellness, fashion & beauty tech, and finance, and I'm always happy to chat. Whether it's an idea, a question or just a hello, feel free to reach out. Don't be shy! :)

in my free time

I love going on very long walks and hikes. My ideal day with nothing planned is a perfectly sunny day and a four-hour walk or hike with no interruptions! I'm also always on the hunt for cafés with the best matcha and coffee, and when I find one, all my friends hear that they have to try it! Beyond that, I really enjoy traveling, UI/UX and video design, photography, videography and public speaking.

  • An iced matcha latte topped with whipped cream and matcha powder
  • A gravel path under a canopy of green trees, from one of my long walks
  • A latte with heart latte art next to a small cactus, photographed at a café while traveling
  • A strawberry matcha latte held up on a sunny walk
  • A lighthouse on a rocky coastline under a clear blue sky
  • An iced coffee from Mariner Cafe in Hyannis, topped with whipped cream and a ladyfinger
